It’s kind of surreal to me. It’s strange to think I was alive at the same time as him it’s been so long. Of course, he’d been in hibernation for a while when I was too young to really know that much, and it seemed like he came from nowhere in 1980, then gone.
I was 13 and had been a Beatle fan for 5 years…I was just shocked…I remember asking my dad why? It took a long time to register…I guess I still ask the same question.
