I’ll wrap up my solo Beatles album rankings by putting it together in a tidy and very scientific Top 25 list. My thoughts on each album can be found in my individual posts for George, Paul, John, and Ringo. Other than my choice for #1, this is a rather absurd exercise to undertake, but what the hey. It’s got me thinking of some mighty good albums I haven’t listened to in a while. Just a reminder: the only reason choices such as #’s 25 and 22 aren’t rated higher is because John and George, respectively, are featured on only half the album or less.

It is your list and there is nothing wrong with having your own particular favorites. I like the idea of putting them all together on one list like that. Some interesting choices as you made earlier. My #1 would be All Things Must Pass also.. 2 would be Plastic Ono Band 3- Band On The Run 4-Ram. If Back To The Egg made my list it would be close to #25. I would switch Ringo up into the Top 10. I like seeing lists that aren’t identical to mine- makes me think over my choices.

I think your links go to your internal post URLs – ie the post ids in your admin- instead of your published URLs.

Thank you. I’m still learning how to navigate around here.

That’s better, but I’d probably link straight to your wordpress site – eg: https://introgroove.com/2018/06/07/my-album-rankings-george-harrison/

Embarrassing question: How do I do what you just did? I don’t know how to get out of my internal post URL unless I get the link from my Reader.

I could be wrong but the thought struck me yesterday – the ex-Beatles were stronger at singles than albums, I think a Top 40 of ex-Beatles singles could be made that would be strong from beginning to end. I think ex-Beatle albums as a whole have been disappointing. Singles- not so……not that I am dropping a hint there on a ex-Beatles singles list…..

I am Beatles fan but was unaware of many of these albums. Will check them out.

Glad to see both the first and second McCartney albums in the top 5!

Sorry — top 6…

As I mentioned, it’s kind of an impossible task, ranking all four solo careers in one. Twenty years ago my top ten probably would’ve been all McCartney albums but I’ve subsequently become a big George fan.
